Participants celebrate after finishing a most recent color run

COLOR FUN RUN TO LIGHT UP INDEPENDENCE WEEKEND IN BUGOLOBI.

Kampala will host The Independence Weekend 5KM Color Fun Run on Saturday, October 10, 2026, starting at 7:00 AM at Quepasa on Bandali Rise, Bugolobi.

Participants will get doused with bright color powder every kilometre. There will be no race against the clock — runners and walkers can move at their own pace, whether walking, jogging, cycling, taking a boda, or even crawling.

Participants are encouraged to wear white so the multi-coloured explosions stand out. After the run, the celebration will continue at Quepasa with music, dancing, games, food, drinks, and more color throws. The event is designed for all ages and fitness levels, making it ideal for families and friends looking to mark Independence Day in the most colourful way.

Kits and registration

– VIP Kit: UGX 30,000 including an entry wristband, white T-shirt, water, Ugandan hand flag, and color powder

– Regular Kit: UGX 10,000

Buy your ticket online through the IMarathon Registration Portal or call the organisers on 0786 467772 or 0700 677340.

  2. Independence Color-run is a great concept! How you share a heritage by blowing and splashing different Color and the person remains the same…its uniting all the Races to just share love…team building games, a 5km run or walk and the last wins…
    Its MÚY INTERESANTÊ
